Appointment of Exam Committee 2012

The School Management Committee has earlier appointed Venerable Lobsang Cholphal, Mr Tenzin Chophal and Mr. Raghunath Singh as the Exam Committee for the academic session 2012. But Mr Tenzin Choephal has recently resigned from the job and hence the school management committee has decided to appoint Mr. Chungdak  (PRT ) as the member of School Exam Committee in place of Mr. Tenzin Choephal.

Venerable Lobsang Rabten will work in place of Venerable Lobsang Cholphal when he is out of station. So, at present the three member Exam Committee are Venerable Lobsang Rabten, Shri Raghunath Singh and Mr. Chungdak.

New Academic session 2012

The New Academic session 2012 has started from the 14/03/2012. As the school administration has already painted the school during the winter vacation. The school startles in the midst of the excited students joining the school after the winter vacation.

The school runs as usual and all the teachers and staffs are back to the school. The text books and notebooks have been procured from the very beginning and the students were distributed the textbooks and notebooks freely by the school administration in the first two days of the opening of the school. Special Coaching Class for the students of Class X

Sera Je: 12/01/2012:
The one month winter coaching class for the students of class X has started from the 21 December, 2011. Every year, the school administration arranges the winter coaching class for the benefit of the students of class X who will be appearing for the board examination.

The winter session this year has six periods starting from 8 am to 5 pm. One hour is allotted for each subject as a period and there are eight periods per day. The subject teachers and the students has t make a maximum use of that allotted duration. All the 26 … Read More

Result Declaration and the closing day of session 2011

The result of academic session 2011 was declared on 14/12/2011 at 1:00 pm in the presence of the Abbot of the Sera Je Monastery,other guests and the resident teachers of the students.

This year the overall result of the school is very good. At the end of the Result Declaration Programme the House Masters were given the Progress Reports of the individual students, which reflects the students performance, his participation in the activities, attitudes and the attendance of the year.

Appointment of new exam committee for the Academic session 2012

The member of present Exam and Educational Committee Ghen Passang Tsering la and Ven. Lobsang Rabten la has been changed since Ghen Passang Tsering la has been promoted on the post of General Secretary and Ven. Lobsang Rabten la has been relieved from the committee as he has to teach the senior classes of the school.

The new Exam and Educational Committee has been appointed by the school management committee and they will take their responsibilities from the new academic session 2012.

Participation of our students in the Tibetan Solidarity Movement

Bylakuppe: 21/10/2011:   The students and the staff of Sera Je Secondary School participated in the solidarity movement with our deep sympathy and to express our deep resentment over the repressive policies of the Communist Government of China to Our people, our culture and religion.

We stand together in solidarity with those who have sacrificed their lives for a just cause. Almost 270 senior students from class VI to XI of our school participated in the peaceful procession together with students from various schools.
